I have multiple email POP accounts. I would like Outlook to recognize when a
message comes through a certain POP account that my replies to that message
should be sent out through the same SMTP.

As of now, I am having to change the default POP/SMTP account when I want to
reply to users sending to my different accounts. Obviously, you should be
able to override this type of feature if one of your SMTP accounts is not
working.

I have multiple (Outlook) email accounts also and don't have that problem.
If an email comes through a particular account, the replies go out through
the same account. Are you using outlook or express?

Why not use the same SMTP server settings for *all* your POP accounts, so
they all go out through the same server?

I don't understand your statement. If Outlook has multiple POP accounts set
up, it replies to messages using the account to which they were originally
sent. The default account is that account that is used to compose new mail
only, and you can change the account from which that new message would be
sent by clicking on the "Accounts" button next to the "Send" button in the
new message window.

And please do not use the "Suggestion" box when you are NOT making a
"suggestion" but are asking about an issue.

Thanks
