Using MS Visio for UML

Hi

We will start in some weeks with a big project in .NET with SQL-Server. Now
we are trying to find a Modelling Software and are testing Visio.

We have no experience with VISIO.

Do someone has a little experience and can give me some feedback? Should we
use VISIO or are there better tools which are fully supported by SQL-Server?

Hi,

I find Visio's support for UML rather weak. If you just need to draw
diagrams, it's sufficient. If you need to generate code from the model and
vice versa, I'd definitely go for something else.
Regarding database diagrams, Visio does support them, but you should keep a
close eye on its 'model->code->model' feature set.
