Using MacroButton fields as a text marker

I used the instructions for creating a MacroButton field and it did not
work. What am I doing wrong? Am I supposed to use something different from
"{ MACROBUTTON NoMacro [Click here and type name] }"? F9 doesn't do a thing
after I type that...

Using MacroButton fields as a text marker
You can use a MacroButton field that doesn't actually run a macro but simply
displays a prompt and allows the user to click on the prompt and type. To do
this, insert a field like:

{ MACROBUTTON NoMacro [Click here and type name] }

Change "Click here and type name" to whatever text you require. Press F9 to
update the field, which will also display the display text instead of the
field code:

You need to insert the braces {} using Ctrl-F9.
