Using "End" key in Word

Recently I have found the pressing the "end" key does not cause the cursor to
got to the end of the line. I have reinstalled OFFICE with no result.
 
This may be one of the odd things affected by having the WordPerfect options
enabled. On the General tab of Tools | Options, clear the check boxes for
both the items that refer to WP.
