Using drawing tools within a form

I have created a form in which I have many sections protected and some
unprotected so they can be edited. At the end of my document, I have
diagrams in which I need to be able to draw rectangles and add text. This
section of the document is unprotected but all of the drawing tools are
grayed out and unusable the minute I protect any sections of the document.
Any suggestions.

The drawing tools (and others) are always disabled when there is any
protected section anywhere in the document. The only alternative I can think
of would be to create the drawings and text in another document and paste
them into the unprotected section of the form.

Thanks Jay, When I tried pasting the objects in, the drawings still did not
come with it.
