Using Domain @ office, Workgroup @ home - HELP

Greetings, at my office I'm part of a domain however at
home I want to be part of a Workgroup. I've spent several
hours trying to figure this out but so far have only
frustrated myself. It appears that I can only have one or
the other. I'm sure there are others who are in my
position, I can't be that unique.

Background:
Machine being used at office and home:
Dell Laptop 8100
Windows XP Pro
Wired connection at office, wireless at home

Home Machine:
HP 3736
XP
Wired connection

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
