using DISKPART to get more space on drive C

B

Brad Pears

we have a win2k terminal server that has a C partition of 4gb and a d
partitiion of 144gb - of which there is 70gb free still. I have heard about
the utility "diskpart" that will let you take some allocated disk space from
an existing partition (D: in our case) and add it to another partition
(drive C:) thus allowing me to increase the size of my C partition as 4gb is
not cutting it. Does anyone have any experience with this utility and if so,
are there any pitfalls to watch out for? I want to do this but do not want
to destroy my server and have to rebuild it!!!!

ANy help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Brad
