I am finally getting a laptop and want to find a way to synchronize files
between my old computer and the laptop. It sounds like I can probably use
Briefcase. However, what little I have found on it doesn't reassure me on
just how to set it up and use it.

Is there a resource somewhere that gives a beginner a good tutorial on using
Briefcase to sync computer files?

Thanks,

Chet

Briefcase is old stuff; I wouldn't use it. Offline files might work for you
if you have XP Pro on the computer you want to sync to.....or see
www.centered.com for something I personally like a lot better.

Thanks for the response, I'll check that out and see if it would apply to
what I'm doing.

I should point out that at the moment the two computers will not be part of
a network. I'll probably be using a USB to USB connection when I try to sync
them.
