Using AutoCorrect in HTML-formatted Messages

I'm using Outlook 2003. I note that if my message is in Rich Text format, the
AutoCorrect feature works properly to correct misspellings as I compose the
message. However, if my message is in HTML format, AutoCorrect does not work
at all and I must use the spell check feature after I click the Send button.

Is there any way/setting to have AutoCorrect work in HTML-formatted messages?
