Hello All,

I have a presentation with links to start documents in Word or PDF or a
video. Now the documents are started with buttons.

Does anyone know how I can use an icon (Word, PDF or MediaPlayer) to link
the document to? (so that on the icon you can see what to expect?) (I don't
mean the Insert Object as an Icon, those are way too big...)

Thanx,
Guurt

I think your best bet would be to just create an image of the icon (.ico ?)
file and add your link to that instead of to a "button."

You can create your own icon in an image editing or graphics application like
Corel Draw, Illustrator, or Photoshop. Or you can label your buttons as Word,
PDF, etc. Or you can do a Google search for icons and you'll find thousands.
Save them as GIF's and insert them as Pictures.

If you have an image you'd like to use, insert it into PPT and size it to suit
your needs. Then apply an action setting, Other File, to link to your PDFs,
Word DOCs etc.
