Hi,

How do I run Sysprep to create unique SID's for the remaining 4
computers that I plan on deploying an image from PC #1?
All 5 computers are identical brands and models all purchased at
the same time?
I have already created the image and did not install or run Sysprep.
I was hoping I could run sysprep on each machine giving it a unique
SID.

Any help would be most helpful.

PS - I read all the documents from Microsoft how to use it but they
don't seem to give you application examples.

Regards,

Trev

You might want to post to:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/public.windowsxp.setup_deployment

and check in the Acronis forums.

Here is a list of MS public newsgroups: http://www.aumha.org/nntp.htm

Just run newsid on the computers on first boot.

If you had more computers it would be worth it to learn sysprep. You may run
into a problem with activation unless you use a VL key or you imaged a
factory install with a pre-activated key from a large OEM.
