Using Access to create new windows folders - possible?

Forgive me if this is an obvious question, but I've had a good look and I'm
fairly new to Access, so I would like to know whether this is possible before
I start trying to work it out!

I'm trying to build a filing interface that has a form the user can fill in
to create a record of a new file being opened - ie, who owns the file, when
it 'expires', what it is about.

I can make the form work to create records and the like, but I was wondering
whether it would be possible to do the following - when the form is
submitted, could it open a windows folder (always in the same main folder, if
that makes sense - i.e. they would all appear in my 'Legal - General' folder)
using the name of the field and number of the record created by the form?

Or is this beyond the realm of possibility? I'd love a one-stop form - one
that updates the file-list and creates a new folder at the same time. That'd
be swell.
