I am trying to connect to an ISP server using a cell phone. I have the
correct adapter cable and have the network connection set up to dial the
correct number. When I dial the server number on the phone itself, I can hear
the server tones. There is a 5-10 second delay from when the phone call is
initiated untill the sever responds.
When I try to connect with Windows XP, the cell phone dials the number and
almost immediately Windows terminates the call with the error message that
the server is not responding.
I need Windows XP to wait 5-10 seconds for the phone call to connect before
checking for the server.
How do I cause Windows XP to wait after the number is dialed for the server
to respond?
I tried using commas behind the phone number but that did not work.
