When I start windows it has the user's names on it. On
the user-Student it says 12 unread messages. I can't get
that off. The student that that using Window's Messenger
can't has no messages in his hotmail box or in his
Messenger group. This is a limited account.

How do I get rid of the message underneath Student's name
(12 unread messages on e-mail).

Download and install TweakUI for XP (from Microsoft's site). It has an
option to disable that message.
