A
Allan
Running Win XP Home Edition, with 2 user profiles and a
shared Documents folder. (Allan, Angela & Shared)
In 'My Computer', at the top of the list of drives and
files etc, there is a heading 'Files Stored on This
Computer'. Allan's Documents & Shared Documents are
listed here, however Angela's Documents are not listed.
This applies regardless of whether Allan or Angela is
logged on, so even if Angela is logged on, her My
Documents are not listed in the My Computer interface. On
the other hand, it is very useful if Allan is logged on,
to simply drop into Angela's Documents, without
navigatiing through the C:\Documents & Settings\User...
route.
Both Allan & Angela have Computer Administrator status.
The PC is part of a small home network (2 x PCs), other
computer runs on Win XP Professional Ed. My Computer, on
this machine displays everything it sould, including my
mapped network drives, HDDs, CDr + DVD drives, Floppy,
Allan's Document, Shared Documents, etc but not Angela's
Documents.
The other machine has 3 user profiles, and displays
absolutely everything, including all 3 user's My Documents
folders.
How can I get my PC to show the missing My Documents
folder in the 'My Computer' interface ??
I accept that this is not a major system problem, but
rather a minor irritation, however it must be doable, and
if I can put it right, I will.
Can anyone offer assistance ? Thank you in advance.
