Users logging on to a remote DC instead of a local one

I have a user that gets logged on by a domain controller on a remote
subnet instead of one that's on the same subnet as the client. This
seems to be consistent. Any ideas?

Hello Michael,

On the clinet computer check if it has the IP address from the remote
subnet.
