users cant send or receiv email execept using the reply button

Hi. I have some users that say that they cant sent or receive emails from
anothers users internal and external unless they use the Reply. i v tried
deletting the outlook.nk2, and for some it works and for others now-

Any information for us to work with, such as:

version of Outlook
type of mail account
any errors in the application event viewer
what happens when they try to select an address from Contacts or from the
drop down list?
