Can you create a forum in FrontPage 2000 or 2003 that requires the new
members to create a user name and unique password for their account?

Also. If the answer is yes, as the web administrator, will I be able to
block their account if their threads are inappropriate?

And does FrontPage allow a forum (not discussion) to be created?

No, not using FrontPage components.

You will need to create the forum using whatever server side
technologies your host supports - asp, asp.NET, PHP etc. for coding, and
Access, MS SQL server, mySQL for database.

It will be easier to find a ready built forum that your host will
support.

Thanks Ronx. They do have a lot of features in the C-Panel. I've not even
begun to learn a fraction of what they do. I have gotten very good with
FrontPage 2000, and just bought an upgrade to FP2003 at eBay. Can't wait
for that to get here so I can use the new features in it.

I keep putting off studying PHP and MySQL. I have studied so many things on
my own over the past 10 years that I have become a power user of Windows,
but diving into the c-panel on host servers, other than a few features is a
bit overwhelming.

Thanks so much for your knowledge in FP, I very much appreciate it!
