Userini.exe file is destroyed

While wrestling with a virus, I believe my userini.exe
file got wiped. When I enter my password to log in, it
takes it, says Loading Personal Settings, Saving Personal
Savings, then reverts back to the sign-in window. The
virus is still present, it's name is Valla. I'm trying to
use AVG virus protection to get rid of it.

Is there any way to replace the userini.exe files? I've
already tried re-installing Win2K.
