I keep having problems with different computers in our network. It comes and
goes and I have no clue what triggers

it and what makes it disappear. It starts with the user calling Helpdesk to
tell us that all the mapped network drives

are gone. And when I examine the application log multiple entries with event
id 1047, 1096 and 1085 are logged.

"Windows cannot read the history of GPOs from the registry"

"Windows cannot access the registry policy file..."

I have found a pretty time-consuming solution to delete the GPO history with
Regedit. Not so excellent it you have

several users with the same problem.

Anyone else with the same experience, anyone with a solution or an
explanation why it appears.
