user32.dll library

I have lost the ability to enter my yahoo dsl browser through its icon. When
trying to reinstall the DSL software with a yahoo rep I encountered the
following error message: " Could not load the DLL library
C:\WINDOWS\user32.dll (get desktop window) The specified procedure could not
be found.
The representative from yahoo said that this was an operating system issue
and that I need to update this library. I am running Windows XP home edition
with XP student/teacher office with service pack 2 updates. Can anyone tell
me how to "fix" this library? Please? Thanks

Ask the moron how to do that as every user32 has a GetDesktopWindow.

Every program uses user32. If you can see a menu or a window anywhere user32 is working. The Error message seems wrong too. If the error is as you have wrote then there is a major bug in Yahoo. The procedure's name is GetDesktopWindow (and case is important).
