User Template folder for .POTX file

Hello,

I am having some difficulty trying to locate the correct folder to place a
company PP template that I use. In 2003, I placed it in my User templates
folder and every time I did File/New I could see the .POT file and select it.
I want to do the same thing for 2007, but I cannot seem to see where the
blank presentation resides. I can put them in "My Templates but I am trying
to put them in the same folder with the Installed Templates. Can I do this
in Office 2007? If so, what is the path I should be using.

Thank you.

You can't put them in the same folder with the installed templates. They get
renamed -- you'll see it if you put some in there and then go to File | New
| Installed Themes. Instead, put them here:

(in Windows Vista)
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\Document Themes

(in Windows XP) C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application
Data\Microsoft\Templates\Document Themes

Then they'll show up on the Themes gallery of the Design tab.

To make them show up in File | New | My Templates, drop the "Document
Themes" folder from the above paths.
