Hi,

Does anyone know the best way to give a user the rights to run certain
executable files but not others on their machines in a domain. By default a
user cannot run executable files.

Cheers,
Iain

.
The doug knox program will only work on machines that are
part of a network, when they log into a domain the profile
is sent from the server. I might be wrong here but I think
you will need access to the server and run gpedit.

Cheers Scot,

Looks quite a nifty litlle program but as you say, on the domain server
policies rule.I just want to allow some users to run a security exe file
from their memory stick that allows them to pasword protect it.

Any thoughts?

Regards
Iain
