User receives multiple e-mails from another user

Hi,

I have a client company with two employees. Both are using Earthlink for
e-mail and both have Office 2003. When one send an e-mail to the other
employee, she receives 2 copies. This only happens to her from this one
other user. If I send her an e-mail, she only receives one copy. It seems
to only be when the one employee sends an e-mail to the other employee.
Any ideas?

Does it happen in both directions?
If you use the web based reader for email, do you see the message twice
there before Outlook downloads them?
