USer profiles

Lately, it happened, that on several of our workstations, there appeared a
temp profile after a user logged on. At first of course we thought all the
personal settings, favourites etc. we gone. After a quick examination it came
forward that the systems made a temp profile. The original profile was still
intact. After a safe boot, deletion of the temp-profile and a normal restart
and login, everything turned normal again.

Does anyone have an explanation for this?

Hi

It sounds like the profiles have been corrupted in some way. Try to cut and
paste the users profile to another folder and force the workstation to
create a new one. That worked for me several times.
