User Profiles

When upgrading my RAM I somehow damaged my user profile.... xp creates a
back up of this damaged one and sets up a temporary one (least that's what I
think it did) I copied over my backup to a new one.... when I looked in my
user profiles settings there was a bunch of profiles in there (approx 6) so
(stupidly) I deleted them all except for the new one I'd created. I now
realise that I maybe should have left the administrator profile there and
possibly some of the others and now I have no idea what I can do I tried
system restore but it didn't work. I now only have the one profile (which
is an administrator account). In C:\Documents and Settings though it has
the administrator, All Users, User, and the new one I've created.... I am
the only person that uses the computer. The computer appears to be
functioning fine but am wondering if I will run into problems down the line.

What I want to know is should I have kept the "adminstrators" user profile
.... if so how do I get it back.... creating another user account doesn't
does not re-create what I used to have...

Hope I have explained it clearly enough... thanks for any help

Yes, you should have kept the Administrator account.

As to fixing it, since it's been deleted

You can't delete the built-in Administrator account. All you can do is to
disable it AFAIK......
