When i logon locally on my windows 200 professional with
a normal user account he asks me for the CD of my windows
2000 that something has happened and to maintain the
stability of the system it requires the CD. It also
happens with the Administrator account (both local
accounts).
The system is not connected to any server and dont use
roaming profiles.
But when i logon it appears that message and then
nothing, black monitor with the mouse pointer and nothing
else no applications being used on taks manager and no
suspicious processes. Can anyone help me on this issue?
And yes ive tried the repair instalation but gives me
some errors on some SIF files and dll's with value 0 on
the SIF file.

Best regards,
João Moreira

If you know what .dlls you need to fix, you can boot to the Recovery
Console and copy the file(s) from the C:\Windows\System32\Dllcache folder
to c:\Windows\System32
