User name

Hello there
I just setup Windows XP Professional in a new computer.
Settin up I put a user name, but now I want to change it.
I could change the user using the user account in the
Control Panel but the system seems to have still my old
user attached and it appears with every file. Is it
possible to change the user name on the Windows System ???

It's really best to just create a new user. When you change the name it
works, but it gets all retarded with user directories under documents and
settings.
