Stand alone computer, no domain. I have several user accounts. Everytime
users login they have to type their user name and password. I'm wondering if
I can make user names or thumbnails available like in WinXP, so they don't
have to type in their usernames. If that is not doable, would it be possible
on scroll down menu, users can select their user name instead of typing when
the computer starts up?

Nope. If you desire the new GUI features of Windows XP
Professional, you'll have to upgrade to Windows XP
Professional.
