User Interface Core cmiShowDesktopIcons

Hi,

I want to see icons on desktop. I set cmiShowDesktopIcons to TRUE in the
"User Interface Core" component but I cannot see any desktop icons in my
build.

What can I do?

I work with Windows XP Embedded SP2.

If you are using the Windows XP Luna theme then the default is to display no
icons on the desktop unless you create a shortcut on your desktop or copy a
folder to your dektop etc. Try switching to classic view if you want to see
the Start menu icons like My Computer, My Documents etc.

I do not see any icon on the desktop, even My computer, recycle bin, etc. If
i create a folder, i don't see it. But, if i browse to the "Desktop" folder
in the user folder, i see it. Manually, I can activate the option "Show
desktop icons" in the "Arrange Icons By". I want active this option be
default.
