What do you mean when you say USER ID? Username and password?
You don't want to type username/password every time you power up your
machine?
If that is the problem, try this:
goto Start -> run and type : control userpasswords2
on the popup screen uncheck the Users must enter a user name...blah, blah..,
click Apply, new screen appears, fill in username and password of the user
you want to be logged in automatically every time your machine goes up, and
that's it.
Is that ok?
