I would like to create a page were our clients can log
into our secure website not available for viewing to the
general public.

I have created a form which asks users to type in their
User ID and Password, but what do I have to do so that
when they submit their ID & password they then get
automatically taken to their secure client site?

I have already created the user IDs and passwords for our
clients. I have also already created each individual
client site which I've named to the effect of:

www.ourdomainname.com/the client name

What is the correct way of doing/setting this up?

Many thanks!

Laura

Hi Laura,
we can certainly help you but we'd need to know the server you're using -
Windows, Unix etc. If youre not sure post up your url and we'll look it up

For a single user ID and password site
See http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;825451
Your host will have to support subwebs and unique permissions under the FP Server Extensions

If you are on a Windows server and want to control it from a database see
