User ID and Last Update date

Hi:

I have a db that does not use Windows/Access security; how can I capture the
user ID (network ID) and Last Update Date.

http://www.mvps.org/access/api/api0008.htm at "The Access Web" will give you
User Id.

For Last Update Date, you have to put code in the form's BeforeUpdate event
to set the field to Now(). It's not possible if you're not using a form for
your updates.
