User has problem recovering folder from recover deleted items

I have one user that cannot recover a deleted item which is a folder with
alot of email in it. The user has no problem recovering any other deleted
messages but has an issue with this one folder. Any ideas?

Please provide further information:

Version of Outlook
Type of email account (should I assume it's an Exchange account? If it is,
what version?)

Does the user realize that once the folder is recovered, it will return to
the same place it was (subfolder to the recycle bin) when the recycle bin was
emptied?

The user gets an error message, I am waiting for one of my techs to give me
the exact error message.

Here is the Outlook error message

Outlook was unable to recover some or all of the items in the folder. Make
sure you have the required permissions to recover items in this folder, and
try again. If the problem persists contact your administrator
