user defined fields disappeared?

I had user defined fields such as; from, subject, received, size. All of a
sudden they were gone and now it just says: arranged by: date and Newest on
top
If I try to recreate the fields, it says they already exist, yet they are
not
visible from the pick list. Any ideas how to re-gain access to these fields?

Close Outlook and do a search for outcmd.dat. Make sure you search hidden
folders and files. Rename it and reopen Outlook. Let me know if that helps.

Open Windows Exporer and in the Address field, enter
"%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook" (without the quotes) and click Go. You should
see it.
