user class gets logged out when trying to login

Does anyone know why users that are members of the "user" group cannot
login with TS, but users that are members of the Administrators or
PowerUsers group are able to login just fine?

The TS is in application mode. Could there be some permissions issue
with some file that gets run at login time? What happens is it
accepts the login from members of the user group (we are in
application mode) and then starts loading personal settings. About
halfway through loading personal settings the TS window just vanishes
into thin air. If I then take that same user and add them to the
power users group, they get through just fine. Not sure if this
affects things, but we also are running tricerat TS print software on
the machine.

Thanks,

Are you running W2K or 2003 on the TS?
Anything in the EventLog?

Download FileMon and RegMon from http://www.sysinternals.com/. Run
them as administrator and start a TS session as a normal user.

FileMon and RegMon will show you all "access denied" errors
that occur, so that you can give your users the necessary
permissions on a file-to file or Registry subkey basis.
