User Acount Deleted Help!!!

It appears someone has deleted a user account and then recreated it. The account has a GPO redirecting the My Docs Folder to the server. The employee logged in after being gone for two months and now his My Docs folder is empty. Has everything been overwritten? Is there anyway to recover the files? Please help!!!

I would GUESS that the old users My Docs Folder is pointing to a different
location than the new one.

If the old my docs resided locally just go to the local system and pull them
out of the documents and setting folder (I'm guessing 2000 or xp) and
restore them to a location on your server.
