user accounts

when setting up user accounts for my kids the programs paint and wordpad,
(progams that they use alot), did not show up anywhere in the all programs
pop up
in thier acounts, but were in my administrator account, how do I get these
programs into my kids accounts,please help,

First, make sure you are looking in the correct place in the start menu. I
believe the default location for these would be start>>all
programs>>Accessories>>

If not there, Check to see if the paint and wordpad shortcuts are listed in
the directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories
(that is the all users start menu programs location) if they aren't, check in
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories and
then copy them from the Administrator start menu to the All Users start menu.

(this will need to be done in the administrator account in order to have
access to the Administrator start menu probably)

If they are in the all user start menu, it may be a permissions
problem...try right clicking on the shortcut>properties>security tab and make
sure that the users group is in the box with at least probably "read &
execute" as wll as "read" privliges 'allowed'.
