User Accounts

I just upgraded to XP and I've been trying to make a separate account for my
Grandmother to use. Doing so copies all my start menu stuff, and if I try to
delete any thing from the other accounts I get that message say that doing so
will affect all accounts. I don't want any thing I have installed or will
install showing up in other user accounts. How do I fix this?

You need to move those shortcuts from the All Users folder, to your folder.
However, that won't necessarily stop anyone from running any of the
programs, as they can still navigate to the installation folder and run it
from there.

Right click on the task bar, select properties, then start menu, then
customize. Near the bottom tick the box named 'use personalized menus'.
(this should solve future install problems for properly written software).

Now open windows explorer and go to:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu

and move any shortcut you only want in your start menu to:
C:\Documents and Settings\youraccountname\Start Menu
