User accounts

My user accounts are set up with the proper names, but when I do a
"ctrl-alt-del" and check users, it says "owner" instead of my name. I don't
see owner in user accounts, but that's what shows up. Same thing shows up
in Windows Explorer. Is there a way to correct this?

Hi,

You can't correct what's not broken. The "owner" account is the one the
manufacturer provided you to get started, you simply renamed the associated
username for the account. The user profile folder names do not (and cannot)
change when you do this. The only way to get a userprofile folder with the
preferred name is to create a new account with that name, then copy your
existing profile into it.
