User accounts - I did setup user accounts on a new computer of XP home
edition, Which had already had Owner as a user. I did set up one
administrater account and three other limited user accounts.

On My windows explorer under c:\documents and settings, I did find an
accounts for Owner, Default User, All user (Under this none of other
accounts), and one of the Limited user account. I did not find My account
(Administrator Account) and other two limited user accounts. I do Log In
windows using my accounts.

Questions:
Why My name is not there? I can see all of the contents of my accounts is
under Owner Accounts, Can I or How to change the name? Where is other user
accounts which shows up in the desktop in the windows explore

1. When you create a new account -- that does not create a folder until
you log in this specific account for the first time. The same for the
'Administrator' account.

2. When you rename account (say, from Owner to YourName) -- user's
folder does not change its name, i.e. remains as "D:\Documents and
Settings\Owner" in your case.

3. 'Administrator' account is the separate user's account, and has
nothing with the administrative privileges of the other accounts
(users).

There can be several Computer Administrators with the different names --
but only user with the name 'Administrator' will use "D:\Documents and
Settings\Administrator" folder.

Thank you.

So, Do I need to change the name of Owner Account to my name?

I did try to rename, but I couldn't as window warning popsup and saying "
Owner is a windows system folder and is required for windows to run properly.
It cannot be moved or renamed"

Thank you.

It is not Owner Account now -- but it is YOUR MAIN FOLDER (so-called
profile), that has the different name "Owner".

Absolutely no need to have the same name for the account (i.e. user) --
and for the folder, that belongs to this account. Like, say, no need to
paint the hair in green when change the shirt to green one.

So let it go as it is goes: just remember that your folder has the name
"Owner" -- and that is enough: Windows does know that already.

Yes, you can't rename it from Explorer. It can be done only in more
complex way (like deleting your account with its profile, and creating
the account with your name by new; it is need to backup all the
documents and user-specific settings then, and restore them later).

ROFL! I love your idiom, Mikhail.
