user accounts and identities on Outlook Express

Help!

I have set up user accounts for all 4 family members. Then I think I erred
in setting up identities in each. So in Helen account Helen and Rod are
identities. And in Rod account Rod and Helen are identities. Now when
someone sends an email it could go to Rod identity in Rod's account or to
Rod identity in Helen account.
Seems that the easiest thing to do is delete an account and keep 2
identities in other (we have no secrets!) Problem is, now there are so many
emails in each account to delete one (account) would lose heaps of valuable
info.
Any suggestions on how to sort out - in luddite language please?

You can backup already received email. Drag the message out of OE into a
folder and the result will be files (one for each mail) that can be handled
just like any other file. Not as convenient as having them in an OE folder
but it's possible to drag and drop them back into any OE folder.

Future emails: For directions on handling/managing mail from two different
accounts - IE or XP accounts - take a look at the following site for
several suggestions. Pick one that works best for you.

You could also pose this question in the OE newsgroup. The folks there
probably have plenty of suggestions. In OE, right click the server name
(msnews.microsoft.com) and select "newsgroups" to get the list where you
