User Account

My user account is the only account where my dial-up
connection from my ISP does not disconnect. It
automatically dials when I go to my user account. I do
not want this to happen - I want it to connect when I want
to manually connect.

I go to another user account and this doesn't happen.

Also my Internet browser, Internet Explorer, after
connection, disappears off the page and I have to go back
into history and retrieve when I had done. Also I am
unable to access any "secure pages."

What happened?

check your dial up settings and make sure that it isnt set for auto connecting and check your security settings for viewing webpages
