User Account / password

G'day

I have a Toshiba Tecra M2, XP Pro with SP2 & Office 2003. In the belief of
improved security I set up my machine so it requires a password at start up
or waking up from hibernation. Through the newsgroup I was able to eliminate
the need to go through the welcome screen as I am the only user. Now after
the password is certified and the machine wakes up from hiberation it takes
me to my desktop but with a pop up screen asking for my user/administrator
password. I dont enter in a password and just click OK. Can this pop up
screen be set not to appear?
Thanks
Eddie Biggs

Me again - the pop up screen actually is to unlock the computer - in case
this makes a difference to the answer to the question - thanks R, E

Configure your computer to not prompt you to type a password when you resume
from standby:

1.Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Power Options.
2.On the Advanced tab, click to clear the Prompt for password when computer
resumes from standby check box, and then click OK.
