USer account deleted

I have deleted my user account. Now, I can't log on to
Windows XP. I'm stuck at the password request (says "System
could not log you on... See your adminstrator")

I am the adminstrator...

I read that I can fix this by changing the
regeditAutoAdminLogon from "1" to "0", but I have no clue
how to get there since I can't even start windows to get to
the regedit in the first place.

Many thanks for any help.

For XP Pro: at the Welcome Screen press CTRL-ALT-DEL twice. Enter
Administrator and any password that you may have set on that account.

For XP Home: Boot the computer into Safe Mode and you'll see the
Administrator account on the Welcome Screen.

What if you come in on safe mode and then went to an earlier system restore point ?
