user account adminstrate specific groub of computers

hi all



i have one domain in my company and want to make user administrator
prevelige on computers in dept. and don't have this privilage on another
computer
in other dept.
notice
my server is run win2000 server i organize the active dirctory depend on
dept.
how can i make this

Hello Ahmed,
It sounds like you want to use the "Delegate Control" Wizard to give the
users admin rights to their own OU.

I would recommend creating a group for each set of users per department.
Then delegate authority for that group to the correct department OU. This
way users in the group will have privileges in their own OU but not in a
different OU(dept).
