User access denial

Hi,
'couldn't use V:\access97\workdir\system.mdw' is the error
msg when a user tries to open db - i think it means the
file is being used by another user but how do i know and
what do i do to rectify it eg. if i cant track down other
user?

any help will be much apreciated

Is there in fact such a file? Does this user have full read/write
permissions to V:\access97\workdir?

It's ok, i found out that i just needed to refreash the

users security access, thanks for suggestion
