For your information. After several inquiries and responses on this
newsgroup I found out today that we are unable to access Usenet or most of
the large newsgroups because MSN has a web based server and not a pop3 which
would be required in order to use Outlook express. I was in a conference
call with both MSN support and Qwest where I have the DSL service and the
final conclusion was that anyone wanting to have access to USENET would have
to switch away from MSN.

Not that your post has anything to do with Microsoft Access but while your
interim conclusions may be correct your final conclusion probably isn't...

Your DSL provider, Qwest in this case, probably makes news servers available
to you. You can you should be able to set up an account to that server in
Outlook or Outlook Express. You should also be able to communicate with
msnnews.msn.com which does not require you to log on.

sent to newsgroups with that focus.
