Use Windows Themed Controls on Forms

J

Jim Franklin

Hi,

I have an Access 2003 app which I am developing on one pc (mine) and
continually testing on another (the client's.) Both are running WinXP.

Both machines are using the Windows XP theme, set in Display Properties.
Both have the Access option ticked for "Use Windows Themed Controls on
Forms"

The appearance on controls such as text boxes and command buttons is as I
would expect on my development machine, but on the clients they appear
different. e.g. text boxes are sunken, command buttons are square edged etc.

I have tried re-setting the Windows theme, ticking and unticking the Access
option, but no effect.

Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? As always any help is
greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
Jim
