I'm about to buiild a new computer and I was wondering if anyone could tell
me if it's okay for me to use the copy of Windows XP from my old computer
(legally) or if I need to buy a new copy of it? Any help would be great!
Thanks!

If it's a conventional "Retail Version", yes, provided
you remove it from the old computer first.
If it's an "OEM Version", no.

If it is a retail box copy or upgrade--yes
If it is an OEM copy that came with the PC--no
